BlueSky Audio Group

A modern listening ecosystem — brand, site, and the private platform that runs it.

BlueSky Audio Group hero

Overview

Founded and built BlueSky Audio Group end-to-end: brand, public site, and the private platform behind it. Education, consulting, and The Listening Room sit up front; a secured Studio CMS, auth, and first-party insights run the operation — so the company can publish and measure without renting someone else’s stack.

The problem

Most people have never heard a properly set up audio system. Hi-fi feels expensive, confusing, and culturally distant — companies talk specs while younger listeners are left out. Digitally, most brands also depend on brittle third-party CMS and analytics they don’t control.

The solution

A calm public home for the brand, paired with an owned backend for operations — Studio CMS, secure sign-in, and analytics that stay inside BlueSky. Same foundations the agency kit later reused; public story stays intentional listening, not sales-floor energy.

My role

Founder · Brand Strategy · Product Design · Engineering

Process

Started with philosophy (the room is the product), then content and consulting as the near-term offer, while designing the brand architecture for spaces and products. In parallel, engineered the live Next.js platform: public marketing surface, private Studio for drafts/schedule/publish, passkey auth, and Insights for first-party engagement — one owned system instead of a patchwork of tools.

Key features

  • Public brand site with Journal and consulting pathways
  • Private Studio CMS for draft, schedule, pin, and publish
  • Passkey / WebAuthn auth for operators
  • First-party Insights on owned engagement data
  • Content funnel via The Listening Room

Tools and technologies

Results

  • Live brand + ops platform at blueskyaudiogroup.com
  • Private Studio CMS for draft, schedule, pin, and publish
  • Passkey auth and first-party Insights on owned data
  • Content funnel via The Listening Room

What I learned

  • Owning the CMS and auth layer pays off the moment content and ops move faster than a rented tool allows.
  • Brand philosophy has to survive contact with shipping constraints — Studio was designed around how the company actually publishes.

Status and next steps

Continue expanding the listening ecosystem — spaces, product lines, and deeper Studio tooling — while keeping public disclosure intentional.
